Caddo Parish Communications District Number One

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners to the Caddo Parish Communications District Number One (District) has available for public inspection the proposed Operating Budget for its 2019 fiscal year. A complete copy of the proposed budget is available for inspection at the Districtís Administrative Offices, located at 1144 Texas Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. The budget is available for public inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Board of Commissioners to the Caddo Parish Communications District Number One will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2019 Operating and Capital Outlay Budget on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Emergency Communications Center, located at 1144 Texas Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana.

The following is a summary of the proposed budget:

Revenues

Operating Budget Beginning Fund Balance: $11,291,400; Wireline Telephone Surcharge: $1,374,517; Wireless Telephone Surcharge: $2,872,304; Tower Rental: $119,236; Interest Earnings: $29,000; Radio System Usage Fees: $26,790; Radio System Maintenance Fees: $33,930; Reimbursement from Bossier Parish: $8,797; Total Operating Revenues: $15,758,404.

Expenditures

Operating Budget Personal Services: $1,078,536; Materials & Supplies: $109,500; Contractual Services: $2,127,018; Capital Outlay: $6,816,000; Debt Service: $1,142,061. Total Expenditures: $11,273,115; Ending Fund Balance: $4,485,289.
